| Leagues
The League will operate similar to last year:
- The league will be split into 2 divisions: Competitive and Social
- Welcome meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at OSL pavilion (the tent)
- Weekly prizes will be given out in the form of pro shop credit (CHITS). Chits can be used for pro shop merchandise only, and must be redeemed by November 30, 2008. Results will be posted weekly, and your chits will be behind the counter (just ask an employee for them). The prize breakdown will be determined by the amount of players in each division.
- Everyone will have a USGA “GHIN” handicap card out of Olde Scotland Links. If you currently have a “GHIN” card, please write your “GHIN” number on the application so we can combine the scores. The USGA requires all players to have only one “GHIN” number, and they do not mind if you have your card at more than one course.
- Castaways is once again on board with us and will manage our “Snack Shack” (Tim O’Leary, the snack shack manager, is planning new and exciting things and would love your suggestions)
The league will begin on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 and will finish on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, pending any rain dates. The league’s first tee time will be 4:00 p.m. SIGN-UPS FOR TEE TIMES WILL START 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
